Kalamunda Primary P&C Association
Kalamunda Primary has an extremely effective Parent's and Citizen's Association. The committee directly liaises with the school administration as well as providing direct representation to the School Council. Recently the P&C has provided the school with a huge Nature Play area, commissioned and overseen the painting of large scale murals in the school, revamped the stage in the hall and installed blinds to improve students' learning environments. They host events such as the Halloween Disco and the annual Colour Run and offer support for sports carnivals and Arts events. (Link to their website coming soon).
The Kalamunda Primary School Council is formed with the fundamental purpose of enabling parents and members of the community to engage in activities that are in the best interest of the students and that will enhance the education provided by the school.
The functions of the School Council include taking part in establishing and reviewing school priorities and general policy; evaluating school performance; promoting the school in the community; and approving various charges and voluntary contributions.
